World Water Day: Lift the Burden
On World Water Day, the global community comes together to recognize the power of something many of us take for granted, clean water. For millions of people around the world, access to water isn’t as simple as turning on a faucet. It’s a daily journey.
Right now, 2.2 billion people lack access to safe, clean water. In many communities across East Africa, women and children walk an average of 3.7 miles every single day just to collect water for their families.

Water Shouldn’t Be a Burden
We’re proud to partner with With My Own Two Hands to help lift the burden of water for families in East Africa. This World Water Day, we’re helping provide clean water access for 100 people, giving them something that should never be out of reach, safe water close to home. Because when clean water is accessible, everything changes. Children spend more time in school instead of walking for water. Women gain hours back in their day. Communities improve health, hygiene, and opportunity.

Small Action. Lifelong Impact.
The work being done by With My Own Two Hands proves how powerful access to water can be. Their sustainable water and agriculture systems have already impacted more than 207,000 lives across 84 communities in East Africa, creating long-term change for families and future generations.
And sometimes the impact starts small. Just $30 can provide clean water for one person for life, setting off a ripple effect that improves nutrition, education, and economic opportunity.
