Behind them was a singular creative force, Nuta Kotlyarenko, a Ukrainian-born tailor who built his fame under the name Nudie Cohn. His signature suits were unmistakable: intricate embroidery, glittering rhinestones, and a Western aesthetic so bold it demanded the spotlight.
