Designed with Erik Skoldberg
Erik Skoldberg only paints big.
Statement pieces. Bright, fast-moving, built from long strokes that can't be replicated - not by anyone, not even him. Walk into a home or hotel from Montauk to Monaco and there's a good chance one of his pieces is setting the tone for an entire room.
That scale, that confidence, didn't come out of nowhere.
Erik grew up inside the action sports industry before he ever picked up a brush. His father was an original Dogtown skater who went on to build a storied career in the surf world. His mother taught art, and pushed him early to see color and creativity as something worth chasing. Surf, skate, snow, it was all around him growing up. Painting came later, after college, but the eye had been building for years.
Once he started, he never painted small. Every piece is meant to be felt the moment you walk into a room - bold color, sweeping strokes, energy you can't ignore. And no two are ever the same. Erik doesn't duplicate his own work. Each painting is one-of-one, permanently.
His inspiration comes from the road. Years of travel, and it almost always leads back to the same place. The ocean, and the sunset colors that follow it.
For this collection, we went straight to the source. Erik's signature Odysea pulls from a painting so personal to him, he's kept it in his own collection rather than sell it. We built the hat around that piece - its color story, its energy, the same one-of-one mentality that defines everything he makes.
His signature Odysea is a limited run. Once they're gone, they're gone - same as the paintings that inspired them.
